O amplificador T400X4ad de 400 Watt RMS em 4 canais ultra-compacto é construído com a tecnologia proprietária Classe-AD da Rockford Fosgate. Possui circuito para produzir a mesma potência em 4 ohms e 2 ohms. É capaz de ligar automaticamente, sem necessidade de fio remote através do sinal de áudio RCA ou sinal de alto nível (circuito auto turn-on). Controles no topo permitem fácil acesso ao crossover. Possui também detector de clip na entrada e na saída.
3 estágios de ventilação com dupla ventoinha mantêm o circuito na temperatura certa enquanto circuitos de proteção térmica protegem em caso de sobre aquecimento.
